Biography:
Keiji Wada received his Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from Okayama University, Japan, in 2000. From 2000 to 2006, he served as an Assistant Professor at Tokyo Metropolitan University and the Tokyo Institute of Technology. He was an Associate Professor at Tokyo Metropolitan University from 2006 to 2020 and has been a Professor at the same university since 2021. He is also serving as the Program Chair for the 2026 IEEE Energy Conversion Congress and Exposition (ECCE) Asia. His current research interests include medium-voltage inverters, electromagnetic interference (EMI) filters, and active power filters. Within Japan's MEXT "Innovative Power Electronics Technologies" (INNOPEL) program, he leads a research theme on high-performance Solid State Transformers (SST) and is a key figure in developing a national technology roadmap for passive components in power electronics. Dr. Wada is a senior member of the IEEE and the IEEJ. |
